I currently am working @ Maxim Spa & Salon in the Park Ave. area of Rochester, New York. I have been working there since the summer of 2007. The profession kind of passed through my bloodstream. My mother was a cosmetology instructructor from the time I was born and I grew up in the salon @ a young age. I never thought it would be what I do, but because it was a skill I had learned growing up it worked out nicely for me and became a smooth transition into the salon industry. The thing I enjoy most about my job is being with people and allowing creativity to always be evolving. I never get bored in this industry! My mind is always being challenged and there's nothing better than seeing someone leave the salon loving themselves and loving their look. That can be every rewarding for me.
